Matt Neal won the opening Touring Car race at Mondello Park, runaway early leader Yvan Muller retiring. In the Production Class, Norman Simon was leading easily until the field was closed up by the Safety Car, and he went off under pressure from Gavin Pyper - who stormed through from the back of the grid.
