As in previous years, all DTM racing cars - AMG-Mercedes CLK, Opel Astra V8 Coup? as well as Abt Audi TT-R - are equipped with Bosch engine management.

A number of other Bosch products are also installed in the DTM racing cars, including sensors, injection valves, spark plugs, cockpit display instruments, starters and alternators.

Bosch's engineering success in motor sports extends beyond the DTM series.

In the last three years the winning car at the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race has used gasoline direct injection systems from Bosch - Bentley in 2003 and Audi in 2002 and 2001.

Almost all Formula 3 racing teams worldwide are also equipped with Bosch engine management as well as data collection.
