Callum Ilott returned to form strongly after being dropped by the Red Bull junior programme claiming six wins and 10 poles on his way to a strong fourth place in the championship in a competitive European F3 field with Prema.

Callum Ilott’s performances across the season turned heads and caught the eye of Ferrari, who named the 19-year-old as the first British member of its Ferrari Driver Academy at the start of this season.

The Scuderia has placed its newest recruit in GP3 with depending champions ART, where the youngster is tipped to be a frontrunner and potential championship contender.

Ilott will be expected to beat experienced team-mates Jake Hughes and Anthoine Hubert if he is to move further up the pecking order and put himself in with a shot of a future drive with F1’s most iconic team.
