Ferrari
Even if glory has been hard to come by for a little while, both Ferrari and Manchester United act as their sports most recognisable, successful and well-supported teams.
Wearing their iconic red colours, these teams enjoyed their heyday after lengthy droughts without a title (Ferrari 21 years; Man Utd 26 years) before taking the sport by force, churning out victory after victory and championship after championship.
The success of Ferrari and Man Utd led them to be labelled as “boring” in some quarters, only for things to change in the last decade or so. Both have undergone significant in-house changes in a bid to rediscover the glory days, leading to some wild spending, but things are still yet to fully click.
Is it just a matter of time before the good times return to Maranello and Old Trafford? Or has there been a changing of the guard that will make it tough to ever fully recover?
