Having claimed the 92nd win of his sublime career at the Portuguese Grand Prix, Hamilton now stands alone in the record books for most wins, one clear of the legendary Michael Schumacher.
Hamilton scored 21 wins for McLaren before making his switch to Mercedes for 2013, a move that was initially questioned but now looks to be a masterstroke with the Briton standing on the verge of sealing his seventh world championship crown this year.

A mammoth 71 victories have followed in Mercedes colours and Hamilton is far from done yet as he edges closer to becoming the first driver in history to reach triple figures.

He has had his fair share of remarkable recoveries with some swashbuckling racing, as well as those dominant lights-to-flag performances from pole position, and we are sure there will be plenty more classic drives to come.
