Questions from the floor: Q: (Bob McKenzie - The Daily Express ) Lewis, you mentioned that the last couple of weeks you've had troubles. Has that been tough and how much has today justified what you've been saying?
TV unilaterals Q: Lewis, you started the season with a win, you won the Monaco Grand Prix, but now the moment's yours. Let's savour the moment, describe your emotions on that slow-down lap, having won the British Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton: "This was the toughest race, but also one of the best ones I have ever driven. It was so extreme and slippery out there, very similar to the Japanese Grand Prix in Fuji last year. I had troubles with my visor and tried to clean it a couple of times.
Heikki Kovalainen: "We've been going really well all weekend after finding some good pace during testing last week. I've spent a lot of time racing in the UK, so it feels great to have scored my first-ever Formula 1 pole position at Silverstone.
Questions from the floor Q: (Ian Parkes - The Press Association) Felipe, it was mentioned earlier that you are the first Brazilian to lead the world championship since Ayrton, we believe since Monaco in '93. Does that mean anything to you, is that significant?
Will he stay or will he go? That is the key question swirling around defending Formula One world champion Kimi Raikkonen at the moment, with paddock whispers continuing to suggest that the Finn may no longer be a member of the grand prix fraternity come 2010.
Questions from the floor: Q: (Daniel Bastien - Radio FM 103.3 ) Question for Robert and Nick, considering the standings in both championships, is BMW Sauber now a top team today?
Lewis Hamilton: "To achieve pole position here in Canada - at the same place where I took my first Formula 1 pole just one year ago - is really awesome. Our car feels good and we're really on top of our game, even though the track started breaking up in places.

Giancarlo Fisichella will celebrate his 200th F1 start in Monaco, becoming only the ninth driver in history to reach that milestone. By the end of this season he will have moved up to fifth overall in the rankings of all-time starts.
TV unilaterals Q: Felipe, you like winning from pole. The Turkish Grand Prix always results in a winner from pole and everything delivered for you today.
Felipe Massa: "It's fantastic to have got the hat-trick here in Istanbul - it might really almost be worth asking for a Turkish passport! It was a very tough race but the team worked magnificently, giving me a great car.
Felipe Massa: "I am very happy to have taken a third consecutive pole at this circuit. It is really motivating and it would be fantastic to do the same again tomorrow in the race.
TV unilaterals Q: Kimi, pole position, fastest lap and it looked like you were in control from minute one of the race. A perfect day at the races for you?
Questions from the floor: Q: (Heikki Kulta - Turun Sanomat ) Kimi, was that a perfect lap you did in Q2 and, for Heikki, how much did it mean to you to beat Lewis already in the second qualifying?
