A 1m21.519s - less than a tenth ahead of Norris. Alonso puts his Aston Martin third in the order now.

A 1m21.713s for Verstappen which puts him 0.3s ahead of Norris.

Stroll leads the way

A 1m22.384s for Stroll as he goes a tenth ahead of Alonso. Bottas slots into third, 0.4s off the pace.

Q1 in Qatar is underway as Russell leads the pack out for the start of qualifying.

McLaren took a 1-2 in the sprint after Norris moved over for Piastri on the run to the finish line
Russell looked strong in third ahead of Sainz
Leclerc and Hamilton were a little bit off after they battled hard for fifth and sixth
A torrid race for Verstappen, who was unable to get back ahead of Hulkenberg
