He pits and rejoins in eighth behind Sainz and Alonso, just ahead of Hulkenberg.

He puts in a fastest lap with a 1m36.216s to up his lead over Verstappen in third to 22.6s.

He's asked: "We're tempted to stay out that would mean we would need to overtake Hamilton when we get out."

Piastri replies: "I don't think that's a good idea."

Norris, Piastri, Verstappen, Leclerc, Russell, Hamilton, Tsunoda, Sainz, Alonso, Hulkenberg, Perez, Colapinto, Gasly, Zhou, Ricciardo, Bottas, Ocon, Magnussen, Stroll.

Out of the race: Albon.

Norris pits from the lead and rejoins in the lead. A dominant display from the McLaren driver so far. 

Norris claims he has some front wing damage as Verstappen pits but rejoins behind Leclerc.

Russell pits and rejoins ahead of Hamilton. The seven-time world champion won't be happy with that. 

Piastri is in DRS range of Russell in the battle for third. 0.6s between those two.

Norris' lead over Verstappen is now 21.3s. He was 1.3s quicker on the last lap. 

Finally. An on-track overtake... Leclerc overtakes Alonso into Turn 16.

He's now 15.2s ahead of Verstappen at the front of the field. 

Russell is running 11.5s behind the Dutchman, while Piastri is just 1.2s. behind. 

Norris has increased his lead over Verstappen to 13.4s now. Incredible pace from the McLaren.

Starting on the softs, Hamilton is the first of the leading group to come into the pit lane.

He's put on a set of hards. 

Norris, Verstappen, Hamilton, Russell, Piastri, Hulkenberg, Alonso, Leclerc, Colapinto, Perez, Tsunoda, Ocon, Magnussen, Gasly, Stroll, Zhou, Bottas, Sainz and Ricciardo.

With the Ferraris in traffic, they've rolled the dice with Sainz and stopped him already. 

His lead over Verstappen is 7.3s - Norris is lapping around one-second per lap at the moment. 

It's now up to six seconds between the top two. The McLaren is in a different league here.

He's increased his lead over Verstappen now to 4.6s at the front. Dominant. 

He puts in another fastest lap to open his lead over Verstappen to 2.6s.

The top two are running three seconds clear of Hamilton in third, who's currently running on the softs. 

Norris has opened up a 1.8s lead over Norris at the front of the field. Impressive pace from the McLaren driver.
