Lando Norris hasn't posted a time yet. He's done eight laps of testing but is now back in the garage.
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc sets a timesheet-topping 1:30.861.
He did drive wide, similarly to Lewis Hamilton, at a couple of corners earlier.
The Haas rookie has a broken engine cover. Part of the inside of his car is on display.
He's on his way back to the garage to get it fixed.
Max Verstappen's early run has now taken him back to the garage. He'll be back soon.
Fernando Alonso is back out, with his brief problem fixed.
Fernando Alonso comes to a stop in the pit lane.
The Aston Martin engineers get him back into the garage where they busily get to work.
That was unplanned, obviously.
"Fernando was on a run, he came out and all seemed fine," Ted Kravitz reports.
"They have now taken the nose off. There is the start of work on the engine cover panel.
"I wonder if the car was starting to overheat."
Andrea Kimi Antonelli tops the timesheet after a few minutes.
All 10 drivers eligible this morning are on track already.
Cars will likely run the quantities of fuel today that are most representative of the first practice session at the first grand prix.
They will also shed the big aero rakes, at some stage.

The McLarens would have both gone faster, Ted Kravitz reports on Sky Sports, had they not made a small error which caused them to abandon their laps.
Lando Norris' race run really caught the eye on Thursday, almost 1s per lap quicker than Charles Leclerc.
McLaren's two race runs were equivalent of a 1-2 finish at the Bahrain GP.
How will F1 teams approach the final day of pre-season testing?
We know the timesheet doesn't always tell the whole story.
But will one of the front-runners make the effort to stamp their authority today, ahead of the Australian Grand Prix?
Most teams are swapping their drivers around today, meaning Lewis Hamilton won't drive until Friday afternoon (from midday UK time).
McLaren's Rob Marshall and Red Bull's Christian Horner arriving.

Teams will have another eight hours of running to get ready for the first race of the season in Melbourne next month. The main question mark so far is Red Bull.
Max Verstappen is set to be in the car for the whole eight hours as the reigning world champion sat out yesterday.
