In terms of lap times, he's fifth overall at the moment, 0.3s off the pace.

Work is being done to Hamilton's Ferrari with just over 75 minutes left of the morning session.

There's just 0.9s between the top nine - Albon in first and Piastri in ninth. Bearman is cut adrift at the bottom of the timesheets, 4.0s off the pace.

Yet another oversteer moment for Hamilton, who runs slightly wide in the Ferrari.

Albon remains top of the pile with a 1m31.573s, 0.001s ahead of Lawson.

Bearman is at the bottom of the timesheets after nearly two hours of running for Haas. He's completed 26 laps so far.

Under Ayao Komatsu's leadership, Haas finished P7 in the constructors' championship - a notable improvement in real years.

It's Alonso's turn now to go fastest. Alonso sets a 1m31.874s - a small improvement on Lawson's top time before that.

It's Hamilton's turn to move up the order. A tidy lap puts him second in the order, just over a tenth away from Lawson's top time.
