He's closed to within 1.5s of Leclerc in the battle for second now.

He makes the most of DRS to get by the Aston Martin driver.

More pit stops - Tsunoda is the next driver in from the race lead for a new set of hards.

He breezes past Stroll to move into P2.

On Lap 18, Ferrari call Leclerc in for fresh rubber. Let's see where he rejoins.

Verstappen is the next driver to come into the pit lane.

He's rejoined behind Russell now.

Further behind, Hamilton has picked up front wing damage after contact with Gasly.

Norris and Russell are now in the pit lane for fresh rubber.

They're responding to the undercut threat from Piastri and Norris behind.

A couple of early pit stops with Alonso and Piastri coming in for fresh rubber already.

Piastri is now under threat from Tsunoda in the battle for fifth. 

Russell finally gets past Piastri on the fourth attempt into Turn 9.

Russell continues to attack Piastri for fourth but can't get close enough to make a move.

Strong pace from Leclerc at the front, who has reduced Verstappen's lead to 1.3s. 

Russell acts Piastri with the use of DRS but can't get close enough to get the move down.

This has allowed Norris to break DRS to his teammate.

The top 10: Verstappen, Leclerc, Norris, Piastri, Russell, Tsunoda, Alonso, Gasly, Perez and Hamilton.

Norris gets past his teammate with the use of DRS into third. 

The Red Bull driver sends one down the inside of Hamilton for ninth. Nice move.

Verstappen holds onto the lead into Turn 1 from Leclerc.

Piastri is up to third ahead of Norris and Russell.
