F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2022 | Full weekend schedule | How to watch
The Formula 1 title battle may have a new contender emerging in the shape of Max Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez but can he follow up his victory in Monte Carlo with another strong showing in Baku?
Perez, just a week after team orders told him to let Red Bull teammate Verstappen to pass, was victorious at the F1 Monaco Grand Prix and celebrated by signing a new two-year deal with a pay rise.
But is it problematic for Red Bull to have two drivers with an eye on the championship, rather than just one?
Charles Leclerc heads to Baku after a promising home race in Monaco turned sour - he had been fastest all week and was winning the Grand Prix until an ill-timed pitstop cost him three places.
Leclerc hit out at Ferrari “mistakes” and has since been criticised by Ralph Schumacher.
