Alfa Romeo F1 driver Zhou Guanyu suffered a terrifying crash on the opening lap of Sunday's British Grand Prix which saw the race red-flagged.

The Chinese F1 rookie miraculously escaped without injury after his car was thrown upside down and flipped over the Turn 1 barriers before coming to a rest against the catch fencing.
Zhou later praised the Halo cockpit protection device for saving him.
