Adrian Sutil's manager Manfred Zimmermann says the German driver has been left with 'two options' after the announcement that Bruno Senna is to race for Williams this season.

Sutil had been linked with the Grove-based team after leaving Force India but was then overlooked in favour of former Hispania and Renault driver Senna - who will now partner Pastor Maldonado for the year ahead.

Just one seat now remains on the F1 grid with HRT yet to name a team-mate for Pedro de la Rosa, although Tonio Liuzzi has a contract for 2012, albeit one signed with the team's previous owners.

Sutil's best bet of staying in F1 would now seem to be in a test and reserve role and manager Zimmermann admitted that the strategy had changed when it became known that Williams weren't an option for the new season.

"The announcement of Bruno Senna as a Williams driver does not surprise us," he told Motor-Total.com. "For us, that issue was already settled two weeks ago. The negotiations with Williams ended in mid-December due to differing ideas."
