Two of the cars entered by HRT during its brief foray into F1 are to continue racing after it was confirmed that an agreement has been reached for a pair of 2011 cars to compete in the BOSS GP series.

Teo Martin, who purchased many of the assets of the team when it closed down at the end of last season, has agreed a deal with fellow businessman Carlos Molla that will see a pair of F111s - as raced by Tonio Liuzzi, Narain Karthikeyan and Daniel Ricciardo - take part in the series.

While Martin will provide the cars and infrastructure, Molla will work to prepare the two cars and then run them in the championship.

Work is ongoing to get the cars ready for the end of the month in order to return to action this year.

BOSS GP is a series for old single-seaters from the likes of F1, IndyCar and GP2. Amongst the cars on the grid this season are a 2004 Jaguar R5, a pair of Arrows A21s from 2000, nine ex-GP2 Dallaras, two Panoz DP01 Champcars and a 1989 Lola T8900 IndyCar.
