Energy store issue ends Vettel's running
Sebastian Vettel's running on day two of the first test at Jerez has been ended prematurely by an energy store issue.
Vettel had completed just eight laps on Wednesday when his car was pictured smoking in the Red Bull garage, and the team confirmed that Renault wanted to investigate a problem with the energy store in order to try and get the car ready for Thursday's running.
It ends a tough two days for Vettel, who completed just three laps on Tuesday after Red Bull failed to get its new RB10 on track before 4pm. The reigning world champion managed a total of just 11 laps over the first two days, with Daniel Ricciardo scheduled to drive on Thursday and Friday.
Red Bull's sister team - Toro Rosso - also failed to emerged before 3pm on Wednesday with a power unit issue.
