Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg wins in Germany and increases his championship lead from 4 points to 14.

Rosberg now has 190 points while Lewis Hamilton, who fought his way back from P20 on the grid to third, has 176. Daniel Ricciardo remains third but increases his tally to 106 points, with Alonso fourth on 97, Valtteri Bottas fifth on 91 and Sebastian Vettel sixth on 82.

In the Constructors' Championship, Mercedes increases its tally to 366 points. Red Bull continues to hold second with 188, but is now 178 back (+20 pre-Hockenheim). Williams moves up to third with 121 points, 5 up on Ferrari (on 116). Force India remains fifth on 98, with McLaren sixth on 96.
