Rain delays Red Bull Ring test
Heavy and persistent rain has frustrated the nine teams attempting to test their latest developments at the Red Bull Ring on day one of the second in-season F1 test.
With all teams bar Manor staying on at the scene of last Sunday's Austria Grand Prix, the day was expected to be a busy one, but the weather gods had other ideas. With everyone waking to a sodden circuit and no sign of a break in the clouds, the action has been confined to the garages, with only a handful of exploratory laps being completed before the red flag brought an official end to any ideas of running.

Circuit officials subsequently issued confirmation that there would be no cars on track until after the hour-long lunch break, leaving the likes of Toro Rosso and Force India to return to plans for an impromptu boat race in the pit-lane....
