Torrential rain causes havoc in Hungary
Torrential rain has brought qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix to a halt as storms sweep across the Hungaroring.
With soaring temperatures reaching as high as 35 degrees for FP3 just two hours before qualifying, a storm would subsequently bubble up in the area to bring heavy rain with little more than an hour to go before qualifying.
Falling heavily enough to force a delay of 20mins initially, though Q1 did get underway in wet but seemingly improving conditions, the rain would intensify again forcing a stop with 13mins of the session remaining.
UPDATE 1: The session restarted at 14.40 only to be red flagged after Marcus Ericsson crashes at Turn 8. He is unhurt
UPDATE 2: The sessions restarts again at 14.55 but is red flagged after a crash for Felipe Massa. Also unhurt. Still 5mins 20secs of Q1 remaining
