Bar Factory Opens
British American Racing opened its state of the art premises in Brackley on the eve of the British Grand Prix, and reiterated its claim to be on the pace next season.
The new factory is situated next to racing partners Reynard, and includes a modern wind tunnel facility. The unit becomes operational in October, by which time team principal Craig Pollock hopes to have named his drivers and launched the new car.

Damon Hill has joined Jacques Villeneuve and Alex Zanardi on the team's list of possible drivers, although the Champcar star looks to be heading for Williams. Mika Salo has also been mentioned in connection with a seat. Jean-Christophe Bouillion looks set to land the role of test driver.
