Belgium Gp Faces Bomb Threat.

Organisers of the Belgian Grand Prix were today investigating whether an anonymous letter sent to a local newspaper constituted a real bomb threat or was simply a hoax.

The letter - which was sent to the Ardennes title Le Jour - Le Courrier - claimed that terrorists would attempt to halt the race unless FOCA chief Bernie Ecclestone gave 10 million Belgian francs to their group. The letter went on to say that the threat was in response to recent American anti-terrorist bombings.
