Frentzen Impressed By Jordan.

Heinz-Harald Frentzen has admitted to being impressed by the set-up at Jordan, and both its car and engine, following the Bridgestone test last week.


The German swapped seats with compatriot Ralf Schumacher to get a headstart on his Jordan testing schedule in Suzuka, and appears to have settled in at the Silverstone team. (We are already getting on well,) Frentzen revealed, (I have found all the Jordan team members very professional. You can see by the way they work on the car that they have a good deal of experience.)

(My first impressions [of the car and engine] are good, and I believe that the car has a good deal of potential,) the German continued, (I am also impressed by the performance of the Mugen-Honda engine.)


Frentzen obviously values a good relationship with his team, and has been critical of previous employer Williams in the past. The German accused the Grove team's hierarchy of poor management technique, claiming that his motivation and confidence were destroyed by the approach of technical director Patrick Head.
