Jaguar Green May Not Be Seen.
Despite being launched in traditional British Racing Green, the new Jaguar Racing car may not race in the same colours.
According to chief executive officer - and former team boss - Jackie Stewart, the colour may not be the best for television and, as has become common in the commercial age of motorsport, may have to bow to sponsors' wishes.
"The car in Frankfurt [for the launch] might be predominantly green," said Stewart, "but it won't be representative of what you'll see in January, because green would not be clear on television."

The Scot went on to explain, however, that whatever colour the car appeared in, it would still cause a stir next season, and this would still benefit both the marque and its team.
"Jaguar has a position of its own that is uniquely British, just as Ferrari is uniquely Italian," he added, "At every single event next year, it will be the first time a Jaguar has been there - just as it was for Stewart in 1997. That brought a great deal of attention to us, and it will bring even more to Jaguar."
