F1 Hopeful Paralysed.
Future F1 hopeful Jason Watt has been left paralysed by a motorcycle accident, just days after clinching second place in the F3000 championship.
Watt, who expressed regret at taking the runners-up position from the late Gonzalo Rodriguez after winning his second race of the year at the Nurburgring, is listed as stable by consultants in his local Copenhagen hospital, but remains in an induced coma. The doctors are unable to say how serious the paralysis may be, but confirm that the Dane was badly injured in the accident.

The Super Nova F3000 driver had been linked to a possible F1 test drive with Arrows during Prince Malik Ado Ibrahim's reign at the Leafield outfit, and had also been on the verge of signing a deal to race in America next season.
