Parting Gifts And Parting Shots.
The two drivers swapping between the Ferrari and Stewart/Jaguar teams each made the news over the Japanese GP weekend, as they prepared to say goodbye to their current employers.
Rubens Barrichello received a parting gift from his faithful Stewart crew, whose ironic touch may not have been appreciated by the Brazilian's new team. Looking for something different to give to their driver, the team hit on the idea of signing one of his barge-boards, without realising the significance of the future Ferrari driver's gift.

Eddie Irvine, who will replace Barrichello in Milton Keynes next season, was the one doing the giving as he left Ferrari, describing his time with Michael Schumacher as 'frustrating'.
"It will be a different story for me next season," he smiled, "and it's going to be so nice not being in the same car as Michael. Partnering him is like being hit over the head with a cricket bat for four days each time you turn up for a race. God help Rubens."
Damon Hill, too, was on the receiving end as he left the Jordan team - and Formula One - for the last time. The 1996 world champion got off lightly, however, as engine supplier Mugen-Honda presented him with a monkey bike. According to the driver, it was the same machine which first inspired his passion for motorcycles.
