Buchinger Dismissed By Schuey.

Michael Schumacher has parted company with his long-time press officer, according to reports this morning.


The German star has apparently fired Heiner Buchinger after five years working together, and appointed for Die Welt editor Sabine Kehm in his place. Schumacher's manager Willi Weber has confirmed that Buchinger's contract will not be renewed at the end of the year.


During Schumacher's absence with a broken leg this season, Buchinger was frequently rebuked by the Ferrari team for comments he made on his driver's state of health and intention to return to the cockpit, and it is believed that this was behind Schumacher's decision.
