Bernoldi Signs For Sauber.

Rapid Brazilian Enrique Bernoldi was today revealed as the Red Bull Sauber team's test driver for 2000.


Bernoldi drove for the Red Bull Junior outfit in F3000 last season and, although the team's results were not good enough to earn it a definite place in the 2000 series, created a positive impression with some forceful performances. He then tested with the F1 parent operation in September and sufficiently impressed team bosses to be invited back on a full-time basis this year.


The announcement of his appointment was made in the preamble to tonight's official Sauber launch in Zurich.
