Michel in charge at Supertec.
Bruno Michel, formerly at Ligier, has been named as Flavio Briatore's successor at Supertec.
Briatore's return to the Benetton team he ran to world championship success in the mid-Nineties left a gap at the engine concern he managed on behalf of Renault, and the company has moved to appoint Michel as it gears up to continue its Formula One involvement even after the French giant makes its grand prix comeback in 2002.
Briatore has already said that he expects Supertec to supply at least one team from that date, with Arrows and Prost firmly in the frame.
