Although Senna has been dead for over six years, Edilaine de Barros insisted that his body be exhumed to prove that he was indeed responsible for her daughter Victoria. To the relief of friends, family and fans alike, however, there was no need to desecrate the Brazilian's grave, as his parents stepped forward to provide the necessary DNA samples, which ultimately proved that Senna could not have been the father.

de Barros, also known by the name of Marcella Praddo in the modelling world, had tried to claim vast financial compensation on the grounds that the former Toleman, Lotus, McLaren and Williams star was the father.
