Sauber honoured by minister's visit.

The Sauber factory at Hinwil was today graced for the first time by Switzerland's Minister of Sports and Military.

President of the Swiss Confederation (Minister of Sports and Military) Adolf Ogi took the opportunity to visit Peter Sauber and address the 260 employees of the Red Bull-backed team and engineering company. Not only did Mr Ogi honour the economic and sporting achievements of Sauber and his operation during the last 30 years, but also paid tribute to its challenge in Formula One over the last eight seasons.

''This was an historic day for the team, for back in Hinwil we were deeply honoured by a visit to our factory by Adolf Ogi,'' said Peter Sauber.
