Canon to be McLaren's 'official imaging partner'.

The West McLaren Mercedes team and Canon Europa NV are recently announced the signature of a long-term partnership that sees the latter re-enter Formula One in 2001.

"This new partnership within a sport that is so technologically dependent represents a great platform for us to show the products and services we can offer today but, more importantly, those of tomorrow," explained Jon Phelps, head of sponsorship at Canon Europa.

The West McLaren Mercedes team and Canon Europa NV are recently announced the signature of a long-term partnership that sees the latter re-enter Formula One in 2001.

Canon's re-entry highlights the evolving face of the world's technology companies. Canon's new business model, led by the 'Imaging Across Networks' slogan, communicates a significant move towards providing digitally connected products and solutions in today's changing market place.

Canon will be known as 'The Official Supplier of Imaging Solutions' to the West McLaren Mercedes Team.
