Brewers propose toast to ALMS finale.
Le Mans sports car racing fans and New Year's Eve partygoers will be able to celebrate the Race Of A Thousand Years in Adelaide with a new limited edition Le Mans Adelaide Coopers beer can.
Coopers, the famous Adelaide-based brewery, launched the special can to mark its sponsorship of the race. Featuring an illustration of ALMS cars doing battle on the streets of Adelaide, the cans were launched in conjunction with a national marketing campaign by Coopers.

The launch ceremony was held in the Parklands on the corner of Rundle Road and East Terrace in Adelaide, and the Le Mans Adelaide event will incorporate this section of the internationally famous Adelaide street circuit for the first time since the last Adelaide Formula One Grand Prix in 1995.
The six-hour Race of a Thousand Years will bring down the curtain on the 2000 American Le Mans Series schedule.
