Jaguar Racing has extended its new look operation into the press and public relations department with the announcement that communications expert Nav Sidhu will join the team from Williams.

Sidhu joins the Milton Keynes outfit to fulfil the role of Communications and Public Affairs Manager from the beginning of March, when his current contract with Williams expires. The reshuffle within Jaguar's communications department sees long-time employee Cameron Kelleher move to the position of Partner PR and Marketing Manager, while James Thomas retains the role of Motorsport Communications Manager.

"We are very pleased to have someone of the calibre of Nav join the team," commented Jaguar team principal Bobby Rahal, "I look forward to working very closely with him as soon as he is released from his Williams contract."

Sidhu currently holds the position of Media Manager with Williams.

"We have made these changes to improve the focus and to streamline operations with the object of providing a better service to the media," added Jaguar's Director of Communications and public Affairs Stuart Dyble.

Until Sidhu is able to take up his post with Jaguar, James Thomas will be the main point of contact for the media on all matters relating to the race team and will continue to co-ordinate the launch of the team's R2-Cosworth on 9 January.
