Ferrari 2000 World Champion Michael Schumacher has said that he doesn't like champagne and that he has been tipsy on the podium and in post-race press conferences.
He told The Sun: "I've seen one or two bottles of champagne during my career on the podium or at after-race celebrations. But I don't like champagne. I hate it. I sometimes drink it on the podium but that's because I am so happy that I don't even notice."
"Champagne is the worst thing after a race. After losing so much body fluid and putting in so much effort, alcohol destroys you. You get a bang immediately. To be honest, I've done a few post-race press conferences while feeling a bit tipsy and I've said things I shouldn't have."
