Narain Karthikeyan should finally get the chance to test for the Ford owned Jaguar team in June this year and providing the test goes ahead he will become the first Indian ever to drive a F1 car.

Karthikeyan who has missed out on testing for the team on three occasions already (twice when the test was called off and once when he had commitments in the Formula Nippon championship) said: "As the goal of my lifetime is in sight, I feel exhilarated and a little nervous." Karthikeyan raced in the British Formula 3 series last year with Stewart Racing and finished the year fourth in the championship with 100 points. This year he is competing in the Formula Nippon Championship in Japan.
