BAR boss Craig Pollock has joined the long list of those paying tribute to the late Ken Tyrrell, who died last week after a long battle with cancer.
Legendary F1 team owner Ken Tyrrell, who led Jackie Stewart to his Grand Prix championships in the 1970s, sold his team to BAR in 1997 and retired in 1998.

Pollock released the following statement: "The Lucky Strike BAR Honda team were extremely saddened to hear the news of Ken Tyrrell's death on Saturday. On their behalf, I (Pollock) would like to offer our sincere condolences to Ken's wife Norah and the rest of the Tyrrell family on their sad loss."
"I had the pleasure of working very closely with Ken when we were founding British American Racing. He was an inspirational character whose influence touched so many. There is no doubt that the whole of Formula One will know that they have lost a great man. I wish the Tyrrells every strength during this difficult time."
