Ferrari and Bridgestone up to no good?

Michelin Motorsport director Pierre Dupasquier has launched a scathing attack on Ferrari and Bridgestone accusing the two of cheating during the US and Japanese Grand's Prix.

Dupasquier told German magazine SportAutoMotor: "Since the United States Grand Prix, the Ferrari's Bridgestone tyres were smelling in a peculiar way. It was the typical way when you use chemical products to avoid consumption and to improve the overall performances."

He added: "I wonder how Michael Schumacher clocked such 'impossible' lap times (at the US and Japanese GP's). We (Michelin) cannot explain how and, due to the fact that nobody complains, we'll make our decisions."

"Not only (this but) strange smells in the pitlane: Ferrari, during those last two grand prix of the season, was wearing strangely-bolded tyres."
