Peace not war, says Trulli.
Italian F1 driver Jarno Trulli has joined 240 of his fellow sporting compatriots in signing a petition protesting against the 'War on Terrorism' in Afghanistan.
Trulli expressed similar views at the United States Grand Prix on September 30th, when he wore a helmet, which read simply: "Peace No War".
The group - which includes football players Ronaldo and Gabriel Batistuta - issued a statement, which was published in the Italian press calling for an end to the fighting.

The statement read: "At this moment it is difficult to talk about peace without being misunderstood, but we intend to release an appeal for this war to finish and no others to commence."
They added though that the desire for peace is not through any "lack of respect for the memory of those who died in the attacks" on 11 September in New York and Washington.
