Burti salutes Sir Jackie Stewart.

Ferrari test driver Luciano Burti has paid homage to Sir Jackie Stewart following the news last week that the Scot was knighted at Buckingham palace.

Burti worked with Jackie Stewart during his time at Jaguar in 2000 and 2001 and from 1999 when he raced for Paul Stewart Racing.

The Brazilian told his personal website: "Jackie is a very nice person, and I like him a lot. I will not never forget what he and his son Paul did for me."

"I own to Jackie most of my career opportunities and results, and I am sure that the title "Sir" justifies the great man that Sir Jackie Stewart is."
