Estoril test - day one: 15 February.
The BMW WilliamsF1 team commenced a three-day test yesterday [Friday] at the Estoril circuit, in Portugal.
This test is the penultimate test for the WilliamsF1 Team before the first Grand Prix of 2002 in Melbourne on March the 3rd.
WilliamsF1 test driver Antonio Pizzonia and Ralf Schumacher were in action. Ralf completed 54 laps in the FW23 while also shaking down the new FW24. Pizzonia meanwhile completed 81 laps in total and registered the fastest time of the day - a 1 minute 18.470 seconds.

Tim Newton - Test Team Manager - told the official BMW WilliamsF1 Team website: "Ralf has had the opportunity to shakedown his new FW24. Antonio today conducted a number of tests in both the FW23 chassis and has also carried out some tyre work in the new FW24."
Testing continues today [Saturday] - Williams will again be the only team present.
