Lasee back in Jordan hotseat.

German F3 hopeful Marcel Lasee has been recalled by the Jordan team as it prepares for the forthcoming European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring next weekend.

Lasee, who has tested for the Silverstone team on occasion in the past few months, will again be conducting data runs in the Honda-powered EJ12 when he drives at the Elvington test track this week. The former RAF base includes a three-kilometre runway and is ideal for aero testing. Lasee will conduct most of his work in a straight line, but will also make use of the short circuit that also exists at the facility.

According to Jordan's official website [www.f1jordan.com], Lasee proved to be a useful asset on the previous occasions he has tested, with test team engineer Fredrik Nystrom reporting that he gave excellent, and precise, feedback.

While the German is in action in Yorkshire, however, the Jordan race team will be rebuilding the two cars that came home unscathed from Montreal ready for shipping to next weekend's European Grand Prix.
