From heat to rain for the Ferrari team.
Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro personnel experienced a major climate change, as they left the suffocating heat of Maranello, with temperatures in Italy easily exceeding the 30 Centigrade mark.
When the team members awoke this morning at the Nurburgring in their various hotels dotted around the circuit, pulling back the curtains revealed rain and mist.
The team arrived in Germany yesterday afternoon. The reason for arriving earlier than usual for a grand prix was the now traditional event, which has taken place for the past seven years.

The team arrived in Germany yesterday afternoon. The reason for arriving earlier than usual for a grand prix was the now traditional event, which has taken place for the past seven years.
It actually dates back to the time Michael Schumacher joined Ferrari. Every year, before the Nurburgring race, Michael invites the entire squad to his home town of Kerpen.
The event is a great way to relax and have some fun driving karts. It is also a competitive evening as there is a team endurance race. For the record, yesterday's winners were Andrea Benedenti, Alessandro Cinelli, Lucia Pennesi and Graham Webber. They finished ahead of the team made up of Calogero Albanese, Gianluca Bogdan Magni, Michele Emozione and Andrea Stella. In third place were Mattia Binotto, Adriano Casolari, Fabrizio Grandi and Arrigo Zaccaria.
