SmugOne.com is an internet recruitment site which provides consumers with fast and easy access to a database of high-quality jobs, whilst at the same time offering large corporates a low-cost recruitment tool.
Through presenting a simple proposition to consumers - offering simple job search and CV matching, without the massive editorial commitments of many sites - SmugOne.com is aiming to provide a powerful offer to consumers, whilst also minimizing the cost of advertising on the site to its corporate customers.
Launched in July 2002, SmugOne.com aims to become a significant player in the online recruitment market through an aggressive marketing and brand building campaign, based around its sponsorship of the Lucky Strike BAR Honda team.
Commenting on the new partnership, BAR Team Principal David Richards said: "We are delighted to welcome SmugOne.com to Lucky Strike BAR Honda. This is an exciting new brand with a very determined team behind it and we look forward to helping them to achieve their ambitions."
Charlie Gibson, CEO of SmugOne.com, added: "Our sponsorship of the Lucky Strike BAR Honda team is a great way of achieving our objectives for building the brand and establishing our positioning in the market. This investment affords us excellent exposure and is a crucial first step in achieving our aim of becoming one of the UK's leading internet recruitment sites."
"The SmugOne.com brand is all about work and play, and the synergy which exists between our vision and BAR's own ambitious plans for the future will be critical in communicating our message to consumers and corporate clients alike."
