The SAP United States Grand Prix Formula One race will be broadcast live on the ABC Sports television network and U.S. F1 Radio Network from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, Sept. 29.
Speed Channel also will provide seven hours of coverage of practice and qualifying race weekend.

ABC will carry the third running of the SAP United States Grand Prix live at 1:30 p.m. (EDT) Sept. 29, with Bob Jenkins serving as broadcast host; Ben Edwards, play-by-play announcer; five-time Formula One race winner John Watson, analyst; and Danny Sullivan, the 1985 Indianapolis 500 winner and former Formula One driver, pit reporter.
Jenkins is the host of the ABC/ESPN broadcasts of the Indy Racing League and formerly was the radio voice of the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race.
Speed Channel will kick off live USGP coverage with a three-hour broadcast of practice from noon-3 p.m. (EDT) on Friday, Sept. 27. Coverage continues Saturday with live coverage of practice from 10 a.m. noon and USGP qualifying from 2-3:30 p.m.
On race day - Sunday, Sept. 29 - live coverage from the fabled Indianapolis Motor Speedway begins with Speed Channel's broadcast of the F1 race warm-up session from 9:30-10 a.m. (EDT).
Speed Channel's coverage team for the SAP United States Grand Prix is the same as for its regular broadcasts of Formula One events worldwide: Rick DeBruhl, play-by-play; David Hobbs and Steve Matchett, analysts; and Peter Windsor, pit reporter.
The U.S. Formula One Radio Network and its staff of experienced F1 correspondents will provide live coverage of the third SAP United States Grand Prix at 2 p.m. (EDT) on Sept. 29. The U.S. F1 Radio Network broadcast team includes Inga Stracke, executive producer and pit reporter; Justin Hynes, play-by-play commentator; and Sibylle Kloser, paddock reporter and interviewer.
ABC Sports has been the leading broadcast partner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 37 years. The network first aired the Indianapolis 500 in 1965 and has broadcast it live since 1986. The Brickyard 400 NASCAR Winston Cup Series race was aired live on ABC Sports from its inaugural running in 1994 through 2000. In addition, ABC Sports and cable network ESPN are the exclusive television broadcasters of the Indy Racing League through 2007.
