Mark Webber was 'best of the rest' in third giving the new Jaguar R4 it's first public run, following the virtual launch of the 2003 car today. Team-mate, Antonio Pizzonia was around a second slower.

Jacques Villeneuve was fourth in the B.A.R-Honda 005, his first run in the 2003 car, while team-mate and B.A.R. test driver, Anthony Davidson was sixth.

Giancarlo Fisichella continued running with the Jordan-Ford EJ13, and like yesterday it was a tough day, the team managing just 13 laps due to 'mechanical teething problems'. Fisichella's best time was seventh quickest overall.
