European Minardi Cosworth will be supporting valued commercial partner, the Quadriga Investment Group, at an exciting motor racing promotional activity taking place in Vienna on Monday, May 12.
The evening event, which commences at 5pm, will be staged at Freudenau 65, next to the well-known Wiener Prater amusement park and the Praterstadion, Vienna's famous football stadium.
It will feature cars and drivers from the seven single-seater racing teams sponsored by the Austrian-based hedge fund management company under its Superfund banner. Representing European Minardi will be Team Principal, Paul Stoddart, and driver, Jos Verstappen.
Motor racing fans, already starting to gather for next weekend's Austrian Grand Prix at the challenging A-1 Ring, will be able to have a close look at the cars and speak with the drivers and celebrities who are in attendance, including triple Formula One World Champion, Niki Lauda. This is no mere static display, however, as each of the Superfund-backed cars and drivers will make a demonstration run, starting at 7pm.
This will be followed by a presentation in the VIP area, hosted by famed Austrian Formula One television commentator, Heinz Pruller, and Quadriga CEO, Christian Baha.
Sports sponsorship is an important marketing tool for Quadriga, which makes particular use of motor racing, with its international orientation and global appeal. This year, one of the company's primary marketing goals is to establish Superfund as the new trademark for all Quadriga funds offered to international investors. Among those participating in the event will be:
- European Minardi Cosworth [Formula One] - Paul Stoddart and Jos Verstappen,
- Superfund Zele Racing [Superfund World Series by Nissan V6] - Norbert Siedler and Tuka Rocha,
- Vergani Racing [Superfund World Series Light] - Mathias Lauda,
- Superfund TME-Racing [Formula Three Euroseries] - Bernhard Auinger,
- Team HBR [Formula Three Euroseries[ - Richard Lietz,
- Superfund ISR [F3000 International Championship] - Jaroslav Janis,
- Superfund Racing, Biland Cup [kart] - Didi Strauss.
"Quadriga, through its Superfund brand, is heavily involved in motor racing sponsorship, and we are really looking forward to presenting all our teams and drivers to the public in Vienna, where our company is headquartered," comments Christian Baha. "The world of motor racing, from karting right up to Formula One, is tough and competitive, just like the world of investing. To enjoy success in either field, you need to have expertise, knowledge, inventiveness and absolute commitment to what you are doing. As a result, we believe motor racing is an ideal medium through which to communicate the core values of our company and the essence of our financial products."
European Minardi Team Principal, Paul Stoddart, says, "Christian Baha and his management team at Quadriga are enthusiastic supporters of motor racing in general, and Formula One in particular. We at Minardi have a similar passion for the sport, and are therefore both pleased and honoured to be able to support Quadriga at what I'm sure will be a highly enjoyable event."
