McLaren-Mercedes driver Pedro de la Rosa was quickest today [Wednesday] at Jerez, as the teams present finally managed to get in some dry running.
The Spaniard completed 72 laps in total in the new 2004 McLaren - the MP4-19, his best a 1 minute 17.153 seconds.
Fernando Alonso was next up in second, the only other driver to break the 1m 17s barrier, while Juan Pablo Montoya completed the top three.

Ferrari duo Luca Baoder and Rubens Barrichello were fourth and sixth respectively, sandwiching the BAR of Jenson Button. The Scuderia completed 134 laps, focusing on tyre and engine testing.
Mark Webber meanwhile was seventh, the #1 Jaguar driver, eight tenths up on his new team-mate, Christian Klien, who was eleventh, while Alexander Wurz came in eighth, running in the MP4-17D.
Toyota's Olivier Panis and Williams 'third driver' Marc Gene completed the top ten.
In total 16 cars were on track - Satoshi Motoyama, Felipe Massa, Bjorn Wirdheim, Cristiano da Matta and Franck Montagny filling spots 12 to 16.
Testing continues at Jerez tomorrow [Thursday].
