"We are delighted with our relationship with Altran," commented team MD Flavio Briatore, "They have played an important role in our progress in recent seasons, and we look forward to their continuing to do so in the future."
A technical conference on the collaboration between the Renault team and Altran, attended by Dudot and Altran CEO Michel Friedlander, will be held at the Atelier Renault in Paris on Friday.
"Over the last two years, our work with Altran has brought real benefits and allowed us to learn a large amount," Dudot concluded, "Altran give us access to expertise in extremely specialised areas that we do not possess within the company, and which are crucial for the development of our F1 engines to the standard required today."
The team secured a podium finish in the first grand prix of the year, when Fernando Alonso followed home the Ferraris of Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello in Australia.
