Just when Jenson Button thought his Spanish Grand Prix weekend could not dip any lower, it did, leaving the Briton in need of medical attention on his return to Britain.

Blown off course during qualifying, and having to start from the seventh row of the grid as a result, the BAR driver found the Barcelona unforgiving in his attempts to make up ground, and he only salvaged a point at the chequered flag after Juan Montoya was forced to drop out. Button is expected to visit an eye doctor in London today [Monday].
