Snow ices Imola test.
Sauber completed barely 50km of testing on what was supposed to be day two of its three-day session at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Italy, as a mix of rain and snow prevented either driver from completing the prescribed programme.
Jacques Villeneuve ran just nine laps of the San Marino Grand Prix venue, equating to just over 44km, while team-mate Felipe Massa decided that there was nothing worthwhile pursuing after completing his first installation lap of the day - a distance of 4.933km.

"Originally, we had planned for Felipe to test tyres for the Imola race in April, and Jacques was supposed to run a race simulation, but, due to the bad weather conditions, and consequent cold track surface, the tyres didn't reach the necessary operation temperature," explained chief race engineer Jacky Eeckelaert, "Under these circumstances, testing would have been too dangerous and, moreover, pointless.
"We will see tomorrow morning if the weather and track conditions will allow us to complete our test, and we are happy that we didn't have this situation yesterday, when we were able to run a lot of laps to gather valuable data."
Minardi, which had shared the Imola track with Sauber on Saturday, was not present today.
